Flexible Ordering Modes
Gardiff's POS caters for Fine Dining, Quick Service, Table & Tab Management, Pick-up & Delivery, Retail & Online Ordering. Each mode provides support for; the ordering of quick touch items with full lead through options, such as up selling prompts, the recognition of barcode items (normal and price embedded); full product search facilities, and scale integration for weighted items. The screen layouts can also be programmed to change depending on the time of day or day of the week.
Complete Pricing Control
A selection of features are available in order to tailor the solution to your pricing requirements. Unlimited Pricing Levels and Product Specials can be utilised from the system which include the ability to specify an override, fixed mark-up, fixed markdown, percentage mark-up, and percentage markdown. Creating schedules ensures that your customers are paying the correct price all of the time.
Tables and Tab Management
Complete table management is provided by entering items by course and seat number which is controlled via the unlimited number of floor plans. The system will display the time on each course and even alert staff if the table has not been attended for a certain number of minutes. Payment is made easy by the ability to split tables by individual items, seat numbers and even by dividing individual products which are then easily finalised via a user friendly payment screen. Tabs can also be easily created with start/end dates and times and pre-loaded with an agreed credit limit.
Promotional Features
The Point of Sale has numerous promotional features which include scheduled price level changes, set menus, mix n match, gift cards, vouchers and promotional barcodes. Promotions can be created weeks in advance of the launch and programmed with an expiry date ensuring accuracies and true profits calculated correctly. Used in conjunction with the loyalty module the possibilities are endless.
Staff Management & Access Control
Decide exactly what staff can and can’t access. User identification can be determined by pin number, magnetic swipe card or proximity watches. The Point of Sale provides a convenient location for staff to enter the Time & Attendance details; the single-click user interface ensures a simple approach and accurate records.
Cash Management
Fedelta POS provides the ability to perform 'blind' cash balances at the Point of Sale or in the Back Office. Declaration of floats for multiple cash drawers is available for individual members of staff. Complete journal tracking of every transaction can be view on the Front of House or Back Office.
POS Stock Management
Access to stock management from the Point of Sale is imperative for maintaining accurate stock records. Wastage, Stock Transfers and Sale Voids can be easily accessed and utilised, decreasing the likelihood of employees delaying or avoiding the recording of these events.
Accounts
The system has the ability to create debtor and expense accounts which can be used for business customers, regulars, promotions or staff expenses. Assign credit limits, special pricing and discounts to accounts. Invoices can be automatically emailed to the client and paid for either though the Point of Sale or Back Office.
